Proven contest performer, or just go out and play!  Easier to fly than a Pitts, RV easy.  Presents better in the box than a Pitts or One Design.  Easier to fly well than an Extra, burning a lot less fuel.  Nearly 300°/sec roll rate.  This Laser 230, aka. the Akro Spirit, was built by Charlie Larkey and Ray Parker.  Charlie was pushing hard in '89 to make the US World Team and the S-1T he had been flying wasn't going to cut it anymore.  Ray has built many Lasers and was instrumental in many of the Laser design improvements. Their workmanship and attention to detail is on par with any factory-built airplane.  Ray's experience made it easy to work on and reliable.  It also has an external range-extending drop tank.  Lots of pictures and details on this site, enjoy!
